Volleyball is over … for now

Tonight was the final volleyball game of the spring season and I must admit I am sad to see it end.  We have had a great time and it has been wonderful fellowship for Common Ground folks and new friends. On that note, let me also state that my team WON!  (just had to get that in)  A valiant effort was made by the other CG team under the leadership of the Admiral. 🙂   After the game, several folks came over to chill and eat.  It was a great evening and I’m so thankful that spring is here and we are able to sit out on the deck once again.  It was absolutely gorgeous tonight and we had a rich time of community together.

I have a few more projects to finish up as my vacation comes to an end.  This past week has really been a wonderful time and I feel very refreshed and productive.  Most of what was on my list to accomplish over vacation can be checked off.  Of course, there are always things to do or work on but my focus is on what I have done and the time with family and friends that I have enjoyed.  I am fortunate that I have been able to take the time to step out from work and to take care of personal things and I grateful for every moment I’ve had.

Seeing how I had about four hours of sleep last night and it is 1 am now, I’m heading to bed.  I do have a to-do list ready for tomorrow and should be able to continue with the vacation of productivity.

Major props to GRADY for making his first post tonight.  Thanks for coming out of the reading shadows to the big, bad world of comment blogging. It wasn’t that bad, now was it??  I can’t wait for you to get one yourself and I will be the first to comment.

Peace – Melissa
